April 2012

The message for this month is about Ants. We want to focus on Proverbs chapter 6 verses 6 thru 8 and Proverbs chapter 30 verse 25 to bring you a word that God put in our hearts on Philosophy of an Ant. May God bless this message and bless those that read it.

Philosophy of an Ant

I’ve always been intrigued by the fact that the scriptures uses the tiny ant to teach us a powerful lesson about life on this earth. The powerful concept of the Ant Philosophy is so true that I believe everybody should study ants. They have an amazing four part philosophy. (Quote from a Pastor newsletter).

Ant Philosophy

The first part: ANTS NEVER QUITE. That’s a good philosophy. If they’re headed somewhere and you try to stop them, they’ll look for another way. They’ll climb over, they’ll climb under, and they’ll climb around. They keep looking for another way. What a neat philosophy – to never quit looking for a way to get where you’re supposed to go.

The second part, ANTS THINK ALL SUMMER, That’s an important perspective. You can’t be so naive as to think summer will last forever. So ants gather their winter food in the middle of summer.

The third part: ANTS THINK SUMMER ALL WINTER. That is so important. During the winter, ants remind themselves, “This won’t last long; we’ll soon be out of here.” And the first warm day, the ants are out. If it turns cold again, they’ll dive back down, but then they come out the first warm day. They can’t wait to get out.

“Don’t build your house on the sand in the summer”. Why do we need that advice? Because it is important to think ahead; In the summer, you’ve got to think storm. You’ve got to think rocks as you enjoy the sand and sun.

Building Your House

24 “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock”: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock”. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand”: 27 “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it”. Matthew 7:24-27(KJV)

The fourth part: How much will an ant gather during the summer to prepare for the winter? ALL-THEY-POSSIBLE-CAN. Wow, what a great philosophy to have – the ant philosophy:

Our Philosophy

What is our philosophy in life, can we learn from the ants and the scriptures in God's Word and apply them to our every day life ?

  1. NEVER GIVE UP, Don’t allow anyone to say to you that the dream or vision that God has given to you is not from Him. Be of good courage, be strong, never fear to do what God ask you to do.

"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee". Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV)

"And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed". Deuteronomy 31:8(KJV)

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness". Isaiah 41:10(KJV)

"But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine". Isaiah 43:1(KJV)

"Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him". Isaiah 43:7(KJV)

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me". Matthew 16:24(KJV)

Have you ever heard this saying "God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called”. May this encourage you as you continue to walk where God has called you to do with Him.,

  1. LOOK AHEAD, It is so important to keep focused on God and His Plan, Purpose and Destiny for your life. Be careful what others may say to you concerning what God has for you. Do not allow discouragement, offense or rejection that would cause bitterness to come in your heart.
  1. STAY POSITIVE, Stay in the Word of God and seek Him about your calling, ask the Holy Spirit to show you. Don’t get discouraged in your journey and walk with God. God’s denials or not His delays in your life. When you walk through those difficult times and struggles in life learn to turn to God and trust and have faith in Him, you can be victorious in the battles.
  1. DO ALL YOU POSSIBLE CAN, We must do all we can to expand the Kingdom of God, To tell others about His love and to see souls brought into God's Kingdom. To equip and disciple others for the harvest to come.

“Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord”. Ephesians 5:10(KJV)

“That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God”; Colossians 1:10(KJV)

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men”; Colossians 3:23(KJV)

“Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time”. Colossians 4:5(KJV)

“Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man”. Colossians 4:6(KJV)

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him”. Colossians 3:17(KJV)

“If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen”. 1 Peter 4:11(KJV)

I believe we all can apply these lessons from an ant into our own lives TO NEVER GIVE UP, LOOK AHEAD, STAY POSITIVE, DO ALL YOU POSSIBLE CAN

Isaiah 40:1  Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

Romans 15:4  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

1Corinthians 14:3  But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

2Corinthians 1:4  Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Conclusion

REMEMBER THIS “JOY” = JESUS, OTHERS AND YOU.

It is our prayer that this message of the "ANT PHILOSOPHY" has brought not only comfort and hope  but has given you help in going froward with what God has called you to do with Him.

May God's riches and blessings be poured out on your life.
