 August 2015

The message for this month is "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR". Our choices and decisions on receiving God's Word are very important to each one of us. We must apply God's word to our hearts, mind and souls then receive Him and ask God into our hearts and lives. It is a very important choice my friend, what about you "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR". One of the words that keep many people from being Born Again is the word TOMORROW. Tomorrow may be to late. Or "WHEN I GET AROUND TO IT" Today as you are reading this message this would be a good day to make that choice.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR

Heard a Preacher speak some time ago about why are you not saved.

Quotes from the Preacher: When you are born, listen to me carefully, when you are born you never cease to be, you are eternal. You will spend eternity either in Heaven or in Hell.

I am not talking about being born again into the kingdom of God nor am I talking about being saved. I am saying that when you are first born from taking your first breath; you never cease to be; in other words you are eternal. You will spend eternity either in Heaven or Hell. Think about this very carefully. God gave us a will to make that decision where we want to spend eternity.

Whatdecision have you made?

I ask you this, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Have you decided to wait another day, which we call tomorrow?

Have you ever been ask do you know Jesus?

Are you waiting for an invitation to be born again?

WHAT ARE YOU WAITNG FOR?

THERE IS A TIME COMING THAT YOU MUST ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTION? WHERE AM I GOING TO SPEND ETERNITY WHEN I DIE, WILL IT BE IN HEAVEN or HELL.

YOU YOUR SELF ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN MAKE THAT DECISION. No one can make that decision for you, not your spouse, not your parents, grandparents, the pastor, or your friend. JUST YOU ONLY; DON’T MISS THE OPPORTUNITY WHEN YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO RECEIVE JESUS INTO YOUR HEART, SOUL AND BODY.

In today’s world I believe we wait upon a lot of different things. My assignment is to bring you the word of God to challenge you on “What Are You Waiting For”

Are You Born Again?

Why are you not saved or born again into the Kingdom of God. What are you waiting for? Many people right this very day, time and hour just might be in the same place you are.

The word of God says that call upon me and I will answer thee.

Psalm 86:7  In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

Proverbs 22:21  That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?

Isaish 58:9  Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

Jeremiah 33:3  Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Wait upon the Lord

Proverbs 20:22  Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.

Psalm 25:3  Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

Psalm 50:15  And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Psalm 91:15  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

Turning away from God

Proverbs 1:22  How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

Proverbs 1:23  Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

Proverbs 1:24  Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

Proverbs 1:25  But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

Proverbs 1:26  I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

Proverbs 1:27  When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

Proverbs 1:28  Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

Proverbs 1:29  For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

Proverbs 1:30  They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

Proverbs 1:31  Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

Proverbs 1:32  For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

Proverbs 1:33  But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Jeremiah 29:12  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

To the chief Musician, even to Jeduthun,

A Psalm of David.

Psalm 39:1  I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

Psalm 39:2  I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

Psalm 39:3  My heart was hot within me, while I was musing [to murmur or complain or mediation] the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue,

Psalm 39:4  LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.

Psalm 39:5  Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

Psalm 39:6  Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.

Psalm 39:7  And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.

Psalm 39:8  Deliver me from all my transgressions[rebellion or sin]: make me not the reproach of the foolish.

Rich man and a beggar name Lazarus

Luke 16:19  There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

Luke 16:20  And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

Luke 16:21  And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Luke 16:22  And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luke 16:23  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luke 16:24  And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Luke 16:25  But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Luke 16:26  And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luke 16:27  Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

Luke 16:28  For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Luke 16:29  Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Luke 16:30  And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Luke 16:31  And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Five Warnings In The Book Of Hebrews Concerning our Salvations

1st Warning Danger of Neglect

Hebrews 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

Hebrews 2:2  For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

Hebrews 2:3  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Hebrews 2:4  God also bearing them witness, both wirh signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

2nd Warning Danger of Hardening the Heart

Hebrews 3:5 And Moses verily as faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

Hebrews 3:6  But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Hebrews 3:7  Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

Hebrews 3:8  Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Hebrews 3:9  When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

Hebrews 3:10  Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

Hebrews 3:11  So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

Hebrews 3:12  Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Hebrews 3:13  But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Hebrews 3:14  For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 3:15  While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

Hebrews 3:16  For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

Hebrews 3:17  But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

Hebrews 3:18  And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

Hebrews 3:19  So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

3rd Warning Dullness of Hearing

Hebrews 5:11  Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

Hebrews 5:12  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the

first principles of the oracles of God; and are become suchas have need of milk,and notofstrong meat.

Hebrews 5:13  For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

Hebrews 5:14  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

4th Warning Danger of Drawing Back

Hebrews 10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Hebrews 10:27  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Hebrews 10:28  He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Hebrews 10:29  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Hebrews 10:30  For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Hebrews 10:31  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Hebrews 10:32  But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

Hebrews 10:33  Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.

Hebrews 10:34  For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

Hebrews 10:35  Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

Hebrews 10:36  For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Hebrews 10:37  For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

Hebrews 10:38  Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 10:39  But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

5th Warning Danger of Refusing God

Hebrews 12:23  To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Hebrews 12:24  And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Hebrews 12:25  See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refusedhim that spake onearth,much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven.

Hebrews 12:26  Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

Hebrews 12:27  And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Hebrews 12:28  Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Hebrews 12:29  For our God is a comsuming fire.

Preaching and Teaching

Act 28:31  Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

1John 2:27  But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Day Nor The Hour

Mark 13:32  But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Conclusion

Our choices and decisions on receiving God's Word are very important to each one of us.  We must learn to put our Faith and Trust in God and abide in Him and believe that God will hear when we call upon Him and Be Born Again Into The Kingdom Of God and not someone saying to us WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR.
